Holy Trinity Parish in El Dorado Hills began with 1,400 households and has more than doubled in size since its inception 15 years ago, a trend that reflects El Dorado County’s rapid growth. Monsignor James C. Kidder, who founded the parish and oversaw the completion of church construction in 1998, says that about 70 percent of the community rests in the 25- to 45-year-old demographic.
“So I do a lot of baptisms,” he says.
