1. It's great to be into something where I can always better myself. 2. Free transportation. It beats riding the bus. 3. Gold medals, plagues, and depending on the competition, prize money isn't too bad these days. 4. For fun. I have never been consistently paid for rollerblading other than a travel budget and photo incentives from sponsors. 5. Filming while rolling always makes for more interesting videos. 6. I stay in shape without thinking too hard about excercising. 7. Speeding past joggers while going 50 mph down a steep hill. 8. When I was little, I had a dream to play with Wayne Gretzky in the NHL. I can ice skate because of my rollerblading history. It comes naturally to me. 9. Danger. I fall down, split my shin and get back up to overcome the obstacle. 10. Friends - I rarely skate alone.
