Re: Fast Lane
Kaela Nelson says …
I read over Ashley Difuntorum's "Fast Lane: Chris-Craft Culture" article (October issue) and wanted to let Prosper know that November 2007 – February 2008 the Towe Auto Museum will host "Woodies of the Water," an exhibit featuring a variety of wooden boats including the 17 foot 1954 Chris Craft Racing Runabout that will be featured on the United States Postal Service's newest stamp.
Re: October Issue
Just picked up my October Prosper and, must say, I never cease to be impressed with the quality of your publication – beautifully laid-out and with sharp, interesting content. Then went to your online version to see my friend Chris Cabaldon (sans beard) talking about
retirement. Enjoyed Oct. stories, all but the "Tomorrowville," piece which left me somewhat depressed – maybe it's my age – all too programmed, slick, by-the-numbers, predictable. Did get a kick out of the lady's note on "Why I Triathlon" where she explains "...it just feels so good when I am done..." Finally, a real reason to go through all that pain.
Keep up the good work!
