After three taxing years of reading, attending services, learning Byzantine Chant, Modern Greek and Liturgies, Robinson was ordained in 1999. Immediately, he was sent to St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church in Irvine. After four years, he went to a small mission parish in Temecula and then spent the first half of 2006 as interim priest at Prophet Elias in Santa Cruz. It has been about 15 months since Robinson joined the Greek Orthodox Church in Sacramento. He's still learning names, but for him, true prosperity ultimately means giving back. So he makes sure he is present to listen to the lonely, to help the stressed and to give guidance to those who may feel lost.

"Sometimes," Robinson says, "people need to be encouraged just to keep going in life."
