Bring on the Brown

Don’t look back. Leave behind the hot, bright colors of spring and summer. You can do this subtly with accessories: bags, shoes, jewelry and belts. For the guys, it’s ties and shirts. There are definite ins and outs. The trick is to know what to remove, what to add, and when.

Pack up your basket purse, your pink leather baguette bag and your straw Eric Javits tote. They’re looking a little tired. Put those pastel-colored ties from spring and the Hawaiian-themed ones at the back of your tie rack, guys.
