Rekindle Love With Style

So you’ve found the one and only. A nice dinner, a sappy movie, maybe a bottle of bubbly and then you pop the question. That’s all fine, but what have you done lately? February is a time to rekindle the sparks that flew on proposal night.
A well-thought-out special day can set the tone for the trials and tribulations a marriage may face in the year ahead. And, no matter how many times it’s downplayed, or no matter how down-to-earth a person may be, there is no one alive who wouldn’t love to be bowled over with a special day. No pressure, though.
Maybe a trip to Paris is out of your league. That’s okay, because there are plenty of opportunities to wow within driving distance of Sacramento, and many of them won’t require taking out a loan.
Romance on the river by dining at the Pilothouse restaurant on the Delta King in Sacramento. Afterward, take in the moonlit view of the Tower Bridge suspended over the Sacramento River, and ask away. For $199 a couple, the Delta King will put you up overnight in a stateroom on the steamer, complete with champagne and keepsake flutes, bed turndown service, a $50 credit toward dinner and a continental breakfast.
