A Latte a Day Makes the

Bank Account Go Away

The list of people’s vices – treats, indulgences or whatever you may call them – is next to endless: a couple of daily lattes, boutique deli-sandwiches, vending-machine bottled water, Reese’s peanut butter cups, the latest DVDs, organic pet food, 500-channel cable TV, club memberships, or $38 bottles of Chardonnay is just the beginning. And let’s not forget those smokes at several dollars a pack.
    When converted into dollars over time, these purchases add up dizzyingly fast. Buy two lattes a day and the total can easily hit $2,000 to $3,000 yearly.
