    Around his office, photos of his two award-winning carvings draw admiring comments from patients, though the other dentists and staff shake their heads.
    “My colleagues can’t understand how I can do the tedious work all day long and then do it again. But the reason I like my job and the reason I like carving is that whole artistic thing and creating something,” he says.
    “To be able to go home and do it is relaxing for me.”
