Caroline Logan
Prosper knows talent when it sees it. Thus, we are pleased to note that one of our recent 2007 Whiz Kids, Caroline Logan, is now leading our new integrated marketing strategy. Most recently with WebEx, Caroline brings more than 13 years experience selling tech solutions to state agencies as well as packaged business-to-business and web conferencing. In her spare time Caroline enjoys exercise, traveling and making reservations so her new spouse Kevin and two stepsons can eat.

Jeffrey Young

Just call him The Man From Rescue. New Prosper Editor Jeffrey Young comes to the post with a resume a mile long. Stints as Forbes’ Silicon Valley editor and co-founder of Forbes.com stand alongside his best-selling book on Steve Jobs: “iCon.” A gentlemen vintner (emphasis on the vintner), Jeffrey makes a mean Cabernet Sauvignon on his five foothill acres.

Michael Place
(Cover illustration: Build Your Own Future, coverpage)
“Taking the cover concept ‘Building your future,’ I wanted to create a mini world/skyline for an imaginary city using everyday icons; a sort of impossible graphic city. It’s the sort of city our company, Build, would love to live in: high tech, forward thinking and eco-sustainable, and all looking a bit odd with it.
“I love the idea that a building might look like a paper clip and trees can grow as tall as skyscrapers. The wrench also looks like a hand, suggesting that we all have the opportunity to build our own futures!”
Michael Place is creative director of London-based Build and his favorite word is “skyscraper.”

Aaron Cheesman
(COVER: Our Business Tips Go to 11, page 32)
“In the rockumentary ‘This Is Spinal Tap,’ Michael McKean’s character David St. Hubbins put it like this, ‘There’s a thin line between stupid and clever.’ He was referring to heavy metal music, but it’s a sentiment that works for business, too. Lame advice isn’t hard to find — especially at the start of a new year. As for the job of lampooning the latest business ‘trends’ and gadgets, it was just a matter of taking reality and turning it up to 11.”
Aaron Cheesman is a team player, a member of the Five Second Rule comedy troupe, a copywriter at Crocker/Flanagan, and can provide excellent references upon request.
