“I had been looking for a place like this since I was 20 years old,” says Alan Osborne, 57, owner of the Art Foundry. “The architecture here is perfect for an art foundry, with its red brick and industrial look.”

More than a decade ago, Osborne leased this R Street building where he and his team of 12 employees, all covered head to toe in protective gear, turn molten bronze into works of art.

Due to an enthusiastic response from the Sacramento community, Osborne is expanding with two more art space locations on the same street, an area increasingly favored by artists.
